FINAL STATEMENT FROM DOLPHIN REALTY ON THE JCEN MATTER

After careful consideration we have decided to no longer subscribe or promote the Jersey Coast Emergency News page. To square a few things up:

- How did we even get involved? We got brought into this because of a post that was copy/pasted to the page from our Broker’s work profile which was recognized by several people with one insinuating we may have even been part of the page. We didn’t care much until the accusations were brought to our attention. We are not a company that associates with what we were hearing.

- Why didn’t you immediately stop supporting the page? We only knew the page to do great things that aligned with our own values with a very strong audience. We knew the page had controversial opinions and would have some people with disagreements in today’s ever-divided society but there’s nothing wrong with anyone standing up for their beliefs which is how we understood it, in fact we support it. We did say we would listen to anyone who could provide us with something to consider which we did.

- Are you making this statement to generate business? No, our business comes from our loyal circle and going out to work to expand with events, workshops, etc. We did not share this to any outside pages or ads as it’s only posted from our page and profiles to people who already know us. Social media is also far from an efficient lead generation for the complications of this business esp here in NJ where you can’t walk to Wawa without tripping over a Realtor. In fact every post and engagement is far more of a risk than a benefit. We’re on FB merely as a service to our circle to make people laugh and simply stay informed. This statement is to push the fire back from coming further into our circle and back out.

- Did you find anything new? No, everything we’ve seen and heard was already out there. All we did was talk to select people we feel we could trust and put pieces together for a picture to let us know which way to go. It’s our understanding that there may be a legal proceeding about this in which case they’ll be responsible for any proof and action. We came to our own decision independently and solidified it after several attempts to reach out to the page for their side of the story. Knowing their situation was negatively impacting their subscribers and associations without any comment to help deflect the issue off its supporters is also not a business practice we align with.

- We hope any victim gets appropriate remedies and if anyone needs treatment (on either side) they get the right help. We’re heartbroken and disappointed but putting this behind us and always moving forward. Thank you to everyone who was able to get us what we needed to make what we believe to be the right decision and for those that exposed the situation to bring truth and transparency.

ARCHIVED: STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF DOPHIN REALTY:
We’re aware of the allegations against Jersey Coast Emergency News and due to posts linking their page with our Broker’s individual work profile that’s generated mixed attention from several of our fans this week we’d like to make a few things clear:

- We don’t know what’s true or not. We’ve seen the accusations and alleged proof however we have not seen anything that we can personally verify enough to make a decision as of now. The only facts we have to go on remain those from families who we personally know which they’ve helped and none still have anything but the best to say. We have not been informed by anyone that we personally know with direct evidence to support the accusations.

- We strongly hope that the allegations are false however we do take the seriousness of what some are saying as victims into account as their statements are obviously what we’re against and what we’ve understood the page as being against as well.

- Until the facts come out through due process our Broker will still follow their page and support their advertised righteous posted causes but will limit interactions cautiously.

- We are not affiliated with any party or belief however we do enjoy sharing our opinions on individual topics on a case-by-case basis. Politics isn’t our business, we just want the best choices by our leaders to be made for as many people, animals, and Mother Earth as realistically possible.

- If the page is found innocent, we will be extremely happy to know they’ll continue doing the great things they’ve been doing for our community that we’ve supported. But like for any of associations, if the page is found to have accusations verified, we hope the justice system will ensure a fair outcome to remedy any victims and an opportunity for them to receive any corrective treatments to later resume being the awesome service that we only know and want them to be.
