No catch pan installed under the Air Conditioner in the attic space. Highly recommended as the condensate line can leak and lead to moisture damage to the ceiling area if left unchecked. You can see moisture stains from previous leaking at the condensate line.

A aluminum strand wire has come loose from its connection with the circuit breaker. Sheathing is scorched as well indicating this wire must have expanded and contracted with heat and is now creating a fire hazard.
Recommendation is to always have aluminum strand wiring coated with anti oxidant paste to help prevent these types of situations.

Even a new build home should be inspected by a trusted home inspection company like Triton Home Inspections.
Inspecting the attic of this new build, a cracked/split roof truss was found. This will compromise the integrity of the roof support.

Cut roof trusses to add an A/C in the attic space. Now your roof support is compromised and weakened. A big no no.

This clothes dryer was equipped with a vinyl or mylar, accordion-type, flexible exhaust duct. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission considers these types of ducts to be unsafe, and a fire hazard. They can trap lint and are susceptible to kinks or crushing, which can greatly reduce the air flow and cause overheating. Recommend that such ducts be replaced with a rigid or corrugated semi-rigid metal duct, and by a qualified contractor if necessary. For more information, visit:
