Another major win for Oceanside! 🥍🌊

The San Diego Seals are officially moving north, making Frontwave Arena their new home beginning with the 2026–27 National Lacrosse League season.

The move brings nine regular-season home games to Oceanside and adds another professional team to Frontwave’s growing lineup alongside the San Diego Clippers and San Diego Sockers. With its intimate 7,500-seat setting, fans will be closer than ever to the fast-paced action—and North County’s strong youth and high school lacrosse community will have a professional team playing right in its backyard.

The full season schedule is expected in September.

☀️ How is the North County housing market shaping up as we head through summer?

Compared with last month, available inventory has tightened across much of the area:
🏡 Oceanside: 191 → 164 active listings
🏡 Carlsbad: 135 → 107
🏡 Vista: 138 → 120
🏡 Encinitas: 71 → 80

Median sales prices also moved higher in Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista, while Encinitas saw a modest decrease.

The takeaway? There may be more conversation about buyers having options in today’s market, but real estate remains incredibly local—and in several of North County communities, there are actually fewer homes available now than there were just a few weeks ago.

🌊 🚗 Oceanside is moving forward with plans to replace the nearly century-old North Coast Highway bridge over the San Luis Rey River, with a newly announced $4.3 million federal grant helping move the project forward.

The existing bridge dates back to 1929—long before Interstate 5—and the replacement will bring a modern, reinforced concrete structure while maintaining the same two-lane configuration. The new bridge is also planned alongside the existing one, helping keep traffic moving during construction.

For those of us who live and work in Oceanside, it’s another sign of continued investment in the city’s future 🏡✨
