Something strange is coming. And this time, we want it to do some good. 🖤💀💜
Over the last couple of years, The Haunted Bazaar has shown us something pretty incredible: there are a LOT of local artists, makers, small businesses, creators and wonderfully weird people around here who want places to connect, create and support each other.
So we're thinking bigger...
Much bigger!
We are beginning the process of building something new:
🖤 STRANGE & UNHINGED FOUNDATION 🖤
Strange, unhinged people trying to make the world a better place.
The idea is to grow what started with The Haunted Bazaar into a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local artists and makers, creating community events, developing arts and maker workshops, encouraging youth creativity, supporting charitable projects and finding new ways to make our little corner of the world a little more interesting.
The Haunted Bazaar isn't going anywhere.
In fact, it would become our flagship event.
But we want to see what can happen when the energy behind one strange little event gets turned loose all year long.
And here's the important part:
I don't want to build this alone.
I'm looking for people who might want to help shape it from the beginning: potential board members, artists, makers, business owners, community leaders, volunteers, sponsors, donors, grant writers, accountants, educators, people with nonprofit experience and anybody else who looks at this idea and thinks...
"Hell yes. I want to be part of that."
This is still in the formation and planning stage. We're assembling the people, ideas and resources before we officially launch anything.
So right now, we're not asking you to buy anything.
We're asking:
Who wants a seat at the table?
