Most restoration companies stop at cleanup.

They'll extract the water. Set up the fans. Pull out the wet drywall. And then hand you a list of contractors to call for the rebuild.

That's not how we do it.

At Swift Restoration and Remodeling, we're licensed general contractors with 30+ years of construction experience.

When we tear out your water-damaged kitchen, we're also the ones who rebuild it. New cabinets, new flooring, new drywall, fresh paint.

Same crew. Same project manager. Same phone number from day one to move-in day.

βœ… Full kitchen and bathroom remodels
βœ… Basement finishing after flood damage
βœ… Structural repairs and framing
βœ… Complete home reconstruction after fire

Why coordinate between five different contractors when one team can handle everything?

"I never thought it would happen to us."

That's what one Kaysville homeowner said after a storm sent water flooding through their walkout basement door. It spread across the floor, soaked the rug, and started wicking up the walls.

They called our team immediately, and we got to work fast. Water extraction at the door, flood cut to remove damaged drywall, professional drying equipment running around the clock.

When something wasn't working right, they told us. We fixed it within hours.

This is what emergency response looks like when communication and speed come together.

Watch the full story to hear it directly from the homeowner.

24/7 doesn't mean we have an answering service that takes your message.

It means someone picks up. Right then. Even at 3 AM on a Saturday.

Water damage doesn't wait for business hours. Neither do we. When a pipe bursts or your basement floods, you need someone there fast. Not tomorrow morning. Not when the office opens Monday.

At Swift Restoration and Remodeling, emergency response is what we do. We've been doing it across Northern Utah for 15+ years.

One call. Real person. Fast response.

When a storm hit Kaysville, one family watched water pour through their walkout basement door. It spread across the floor, soaked the rug, and started climbing up the walls.

They called us right away, and that made all the difference.

Within hours, we had extraction pumps running at the door. The next day, we started the flood cut, removing damaged drywall and wet insulation so the walls could dry properly. When a dehumidifier wasn't working properly, they told us and we swapped it out immediately.

Communication and fast action. That's how we protect homes and prevent mold.

Got a call last week from a homeowner in Kaysville. Said she had a "small water spot" on her ceiling. πŸ’§

When we got there, the drywall was soft across half the bathroom ceiling. Insulation above it was soaked. The leak had been going on so long the wood framing was starting to show moisture damage.

"I thought it would dry out on its own," she said.

No judgment. We hear that all the time. Water damage doesn't look urgent. It's not flames. It's not flooding. Just a spot on the ceiling.

But water never stops at the spot you can see.

If you've got a water stain that keeps coming back, or soft spots in your ceiling or walls, don't wait. Call us before the damage spreads.

What does a flooded basement in Farmington have in common with a kitchen fire in Brigham City?

Both need more than just cleanup. πŸ› οΈ

Water extraction doesn't fix the warped subfloor. Smoke removal doesn't rebuild the cabinets. That's why restoration companies that can only do mitigation end up handing you off to a contractor. And then you're coordinating between two companies, two timelines, two sets of insurance paperwork.

At Swift Restoration and Remodeling, we're both. Mitigation and reconstruction under one roof. Licensed general contractors with decades of construction experience.

Your project. One team. Start to finish.

Spring is beautiful in Weber County, but it also brings flooding risks that catch homeowners unprepared every year.

When the Wasatch Mountains shed their snowpack, that water has to go somewhere. Often, it finds its way into basements through foundations, window wells, and cracks.

At Swift Restoration and Remodeling, we help Northern Utah families prepare for spring flooding before it strikes.

βœ… Test your sump pump monthly.
βœ… Clear snow away from your foundation.
βœ… Keep emergency supplies ready.

These simple steps can save you thousands in water damage restoration costs.

Our team provides 24/7 emergency response throughout Ogden, Layton, and surrounding areas. Don't wait until water is pooling in your basement to take action.

It's Fix a Leak Week, and we're going to say something that might surprise you: Small leaks are more dangerous than big ones.

Why? Because a burst pipe gets noticed. You see the water. You call someone. It gets fixed.

A small leak under your kitchen sink? Behind your toilet? Inside a wall from a pinhole in a supply line? Those drip for weeks. Months sometimes. By the time you notice the warped floor or the musty smell, you've got mold growing in places you can't see.

A few spots worth checking this week:

βœ… Under every sink in your house
βœ… Around the base of all toilets
βœ… Behind your washing machine
βœ… Around your water heater

Takes ten minutes. Could save you thousands.

Spring is almost here, and with it comes the annual runoff from the mountains.

For homes in Ogden, Layton, and throughout Weber County, that means keeping an eye on a few things over the next couple months:

βœ… Your gutters. If they're clogged with last fall's leaves, water backs up and finds its way into your fascia, soffits, and eventually your walls.

βœ… Your grading. Ground should slope away from your foundation. When snow melts and rain comes, water should flow away from the house, not toward it.

βœ… Your sump pump. If you have one, test it now. Pour a bucket of water into the pit and make sure it kicks on. Batteries backup working? Check that too.

Prevention beats restoration every time.

Fire damage isn't just about the flames. It's what happens after.

Smoke travels through your entire HVAC system. Soot settles into fabrics, furniture, and every surface it can reach. Water from firefighting efforts soaks into floors and walls. And then there's the smell that seems to live in everything.

At Swift Restoration and Remodeling, we handle all of it. The cleanup, the demo, the rebuild. One crew from start to finish so you're not coordinating between five different contractors while trying to figure out where you're sleeping tonight.

13+ years of restoration experience. 30+ years in construction. We've rebuilt kitchens, bedrooms, entire homes after fires.

Spring runoff season is right around the corner, and Ogden Valley properties face unique challenges when that massive Wasatch snowpack starts melting.

We've responded to hundreds of spring runoff emergencies over our 15+ years serving Northern Utah, and here's what we've learned: most damage is preventable.

Your property needs protection NOW, before temperatures consistently rise above 45Β°F.

Clear those gutters of winter debris, test your sump pump, remove heavy snow from roof valleys, and check your foundation grading.

Water flows downhill, and if your yard slopes toward your house instead of away from it, you're asking for trouble. The 24-48 hour window after water enters your home determines whether you face a cleanup project or a mold remediation nightmare.

Our IICRC-certified team provides 24/7 emergency response across Ogden Valley with free property assessments.
