I have decided that any woman who is willing to vote for the orange beast is possessed! I have a friend (or did have a friend) whose husband tells her what she can and can’t wear! And it’s nothing to do with decency, just his opinion! She can’t help decorate the Christmas tree because “you don’t do it as well as I do”! She can’t even buy a rug for the bathroom floor without his approval. This is a woman with a college education, who says she is a Christian and YET she will vote for the orange one because her husband says she must!!!! That isn’t scriptural, it isn’t freedom, it is bo***ge!!! My God women WE CAN NOT GO BACK! WE WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!!

As I sit here on my patio in the warmth of the sun, my heart bleeds for all those affected by Hurricane Helene. As cruel followers and racists do harm to anyone who dares disagree with them tear apart the fabric of the Nation, my heart bleeds for our Country. I pray that somehow the pendulum can swing back and we can reunite this Coyntry before we fall like so many Nations before us. What was once the greatest Nation in the world is teetering on the brink of destruction because of racism, Russian interference and greed. A sad sad commentary of what was, what might have been and what I fear we have become.

Born in 1947, women like me have fought long and hard for the right to vote, equal pay, rights to choose whether or not to marry or have children, the right to have access to birth control and even whether we have the right without a man’s permission, to have our own fallopian tubes tied off to prevent additional pregnancy. We couldn’t buy property without a man’s signature, no loans or credit cards. I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK, or see my granddaughters lose those hard fought rights!!!! Pay attention ! It’s NOT ABOUT PARTY! ITS ABOUT FREEDOM!!!!

It’s only the individual choice to wear pajamas to WalMart, to dye hair blue, to smoke, to drink, to LOVE WHOEVER you want to love, to be an old lady who dresses dramatically or wears sweatpants! YOUR CHOICE, MY CHOICE! The ABSOLUTE RIGHT to live out your life PEACEFULLY, without judgement or condemnation. Go to the church of your choice if you wish! Or don’t go if you wish! I was taught Christianity was a CHOICE NOT A MANDATE!!! We must stop the hate and division currently running rampant in America or the LAND OF THE FREE will no longer exist!!!
