More than 40 million homes in the United States are not owned, but rented, and the decision to rent a home will depend on the personal circumstances of each tenant. Issues such as cost, location, and proposed facilities are points to consider when choosing to rent a house, according to the National Multifamily Housing Council.
A website specialized in finance conducted a study in which they analyzed the real estate market, in the field of rentals, in order to determine the best and worst cities to rent a house in the United States. Sioux Fall in South Dakota, Portland in Maine, and Santa Rosa in California were among the best cities for rental living. While Huntington in Virginia, Detroit in Michigan and Memphis in Tennessee were among the worst. Among these factors stood out for the study: the price of the site, the security offered by the site, the cost of living and even the number of residents fully vaccinated.
