Join the Ojai Valley Association of REALTORS® for our School Supplies Drive Fundraiser at Jim & Rob's Fresh Grill!

🍔 15% of all food sales during the event will be donated to purchase school supplies for local students.

Want to help even more? Donate new school supplies at your local REALTOR® office or the OVAR office.

Ojai is in for a stretch of high temperatures this week, with an Extreme Heat Watch in effect Tuesday, July 14 through Thursday, July 16.

Some of our neighbors are more vulnerable in this weather: infants and young children, older adults, people with health conditions, pets, and anyone without reliable housing or air conditioning.

Our Care Pod is open every Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. for free, private showers.

Please take care of yourself by staying hydrated, keeping cool indoors when possible, and avoiding heavy outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day. If you need a cool place to spend the day, the Ojai Library is open as a cooling center until 8 p.m., and the City of Ojai has opened Kent Hall Council Chambers (111 W. Santa Ana St.) as a free cooling center starting Monday, July 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. — daily hours may vary with the weather.

Regarding the donation center: we will not be open to accept donations once the heat exceeds 90 degrees, so please plan to drop off early. We open at 8:30am, Thursday through Saturday; call us at 805-646-5122 to confirm hours this week.

Ojai locals heat it up with 100+ classic cars, Ojai Valley Brewery craft beer & wines on tap, Big Mann BBQ food truck, live rockabilly and blues by Blues Bullet (7:40pm), as well as local vendors and artisans.

This mini-block party is located at Dwayne Bower's Garage and Ojai Valley Brewery. FREE admission!
