Mom's band concert was tonight. Nice program; not the same old same old 😴! The video is the first verse of "Casey at the Bat" with narration!

Interestingly, the conductor and artistic director is David Carbone, who used to teach at May River HS and contracted me to accompany his instrumentalists for a regional competition. David has an equally talented brother named Tim Carbone (of Railroad Earth) whose wife, Martha, and I served together at the Black Horse Pub in the 80s!! Six degrees (or less).
