OBLIGATORY 2026 REAL ESTATE POST
Not all real estate work is meant to be visible. The most important parts rarely are.
“Choosing to stay off social media will wreck your real estate business.”
Huh.
I’ve heard that advice more than once.
And sure—it might be true that if I don’t post every win, every closing photo, every shiny milestone…I may not be the first name you see.
Visibility does create opportunity.
(After all, you’re reading this.)
But I’ve thought about it carefully.
And I’ve made a different choice.
In a previous life, I was a professional musician—a violinist and teacher. I spent years on stages people dream about their entire lives. I know the pull of the spotlight. I understand its rewards.
In an orchestra, the first violins often carry the flash—the fast passages, the visible brilliance. They’ve earned it.
But the strength of the orchestra doesn’t live there alone.
Second violins carry the harmonies you don’t notice unless they’re missing. They hold rhythm, structure, and tension. If that section is weak, everything suffers.
And then there are the violists.
Often misunderstood. Rarely celebrated.
The quiet center—the ones who listen deeply, notice what’s off, and show up when life gets complicated.
I was trained as a violinist.
But if I could choose again?
I would play the viola.
I’ve never been built for the spotlight. It feels unnecessary. Sometimes even irreverent.
Because the work I do in real estate isn’t about me.
My professional wins aren’t mine—they’re yours.
It is a profound privilege to be the person you call when life shifts: a marriage changing, a new baby coming, a job moving you across the country, or a long-term investment dream taking shape.
Those moments deserve steadiness, discretion, and wisdom—not performance.
So yes—I’m still here in 2026.
I just don’t plan to post much about it.
My ask this year is simple: let’s talk. About life, goals, questions—maybe real estate, maybe not. If I have insight or resources that help you, I’m grateful to share them.
One small request, though—when you choose to work with me, please say you hired me.
I offer counsel, care, and expertise. I’m never “used.” 🫣
If you’d like to connect—on real estate or anything else—I’d love that.
I’ll be right here. 🌟
