🧘🏻‍♀️Sunday reset

🗂️A little planning, a little coffee, and getting ready for the week ahead.

🏡 Real estate weeks can be unpredictable, but taking a little time on Sunday to get organized makes all the difference. But also, leave some time for your real life and do something that makes you happy.

Today’s plan:
✔️ teach b3 class
✔️ grocery shop for the week
✔️ make white chicken chili for dinner
✔️ catch up reading The Real Estate Rookie
✔️ prep for Monday meetings
✔️ maybe watch a fun show
✔️ decide if we should paint out entire house black 🖤🖤🖤

❓Are you a Sunday planner or a Monday morning scramble person?

Waiting on my daughter during voice lessons and thanks to my buddy .vezeyrealty I decided to let ChatGPT psychoanalyze my entire career 😅

Prompt I gave it:
👉 “Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.”

🎵 and then asked it for my the song 🎤

Apparently I’m equal parts decaf coffee, clipboards, systems, and a little organized chaos, and 😂

10/10 more entertaining than doom-scrolling. Thanks for the idea, friend.

If you’ve got a few minutes to kill while waiting around, you should absolutely try this too!

A new season of work doesn’t have to mean moving faster. Sometimes it’s about moving better.

2026 — the Year of the Horse 🐎 ✨ — is often associated with steady energy, forward motion, and progress built through consistency rather than force. A reminder that momentum comes from rhythm, not rush.

To me, this year feels like an invitation to find your flow — to grow, learn new skills, and build something meaningful over time. To create habits, systems, and routines that support long-term progress without burning out. To stay focused, grounded, and open to what’s next. 🙌🏼

There’s real power in choosing a pace you can sustain — especially when you’re building for the long run.

REFLECT: What feels worth your energy in 2026? ✨
BUILD: What are you intentionally building this year? 💪🏼

I’m excited to share that I’ve officially stepped into the role of Director of Operations 🎉

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support our amazing agents and help elevate our brokerage in this new chapter. Real estate has opened so many doors for me, and stepping into leadership is something I’ve worked toward and dreamed about for a long time.

And don’t worry — I’m still your OKC Realtor! Helping buyers and sellers find their perfect home will always be a passion of mine. 🏡❤️

Thank you all for the support, encouragement, and love. I can’t wait for what’s ahead! ✨🔥

I 🧡 kicking off the holiday season the same way—matching pajamas, orange garland making, and Christmas music playing in the background. It’s simple, sweet, and one of my favorite traditions. 🍊✨
It reminds me that the best moments at home are often the ones we make with our own hands.

What is one of your favorite holiday traditions? 🎄

After being in real estate for a bit now, I’ve learned a TON about the housing market, investment strategies, contingencies, and inflation - but l’ve learned even more about myself and working with others.

Here are 3 of my top takeaways at this point in my career:

• Most people are trustworthy.
• Knowing when to speak and when to listen is a highly valuable skill that can be learned.
• Kindness will take you farther than professional know-how.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned recently in your career?

And you thought candy corn was just for sneaking every time you walked by..ha ha ha (insert evil laugh)!⁣

Check out a few DIY candy-inspired decor projects:⁣

Plant a candy corn tree: Pick a few branches from your yard and hot-glue candy corns on the ends and the “Vs” where the twigs branch off. Place the trunk into a small floral square (available at crafts stores) and rest it in the base of a vase. Fill the vase to the brim with candy corn to cover.⁣

String up candy corn garland: Move over, popcorn! There’s a new garland in town. Use fishing line to thread a needle and poke through the candy corn one at a time. Steer clear of where the colors meet. Candies have a tendency to break at those points. Hang on a mantel or a staircase (out of reach of your furry friends).⁣

Light up the room: Fill your glass hurricanes a third of the way with candy corn and rest a white pillar candle in the center of each. The candy will keep the candles upright; just be sure not to leave lit candles unattended.⁣

If you can’t get enough of the candy corn, a quick online search will give you dozens of ideas...everything from sugar scrub and soaps to cupcakes and earrings. Enjoy - and. happy Halloween crafting!

Imagine how amazing it would feel to finally pull together a plan to invest in real estate. If this sounds like something that sparks joy for you, then imagine no more because I can make this a reality!

Plus, there’s no time like the present to get started!
Here’s one of the easiest ways to start your investment journey: →

- Step 1: Buy a house, condo, or townhome in an up-and-coming or in-demand neighborhood or school district. (PS - I can help!)

- Step 2: Move in, and live life! As you do, get the home looking better than it did when you bought it by making small cosmetic changes.

- Step 3: After a year or two, buy a new home, and rent out the first one. (Two years is better than one since you’ll be able to avoid capital gains taxes if you live in the home for at least two years.)

- Step 4: Wash, rinse, and repeat!

By living in a house before renting it out, you can finance it as a residence, which will land you far better terms on a loan.

Sound like a plan you’re ready to execute? DM me, and let’s get the pieces in place. It’ll take a few years, but this is one of the safest ways to invest in real estate and see some great returns!
