Imagine pulling into the driveway after a long day and thinking, “We’re home.”

There’s something bittersweet about walking through a home that’s about to change hands.

You can almost feel the years of memories within its walls, the birthday candles that were blown out, the late night conversations in the kitchen, the Christmas mornings, the first days of school, the ordinary evenings that quietly became the moments that mattered most.

It’s an honor to help close one chapter with care while preparing a place for another family to begin theirs.

Over the next couple of weeks, two beautiful homes: one in Silver Hawk in Edmond and one in Ranchwood in southwest OKC, will be ready to welcome their next owners. My prayer is that the next family will love these homes just as deeply, fill them with laughter, grace, and new memories, and leave them better than they found them.

People don’t need another salesperson.

They need someone who will sit across the table from them, listen to what keeps them up at night, and help them make a decision they can feel good about long after the paperwork is signed.

Real estate is how I make a living, but people are why I do it.

I’ve sat with families who were scared they had to sell their home, only to find a way for them to stay. I’ve had conversations that lasted hours and never led to a transaction. I’ve spent weekends, evenings, and time away from my own family because someone else’s family needed help navigating a difficult season.

It’s more than the paycheck.

It’s about the young couple buying their first home and wondering if they’re making the right decision. It’s about the widow trying to figure out her next chapter. It’s about the family that just needs someone honest enough to tell them the truth, even when that truth doesn’t make me a dime.

Some moments are bigger than the milestone itself.

I’ve known both of them for years, and what makes this so special isn’t the house. It’s who they are. I’ve had the privilege of watching them grow into people of character, kindness, resilience, and faith. The kind of people who continue showing up, working hard, loving others well, and trusting God through each season.

This home is more than a purchase. It’s the result of years of growth, perseverance, sacrifice, and God’s faithfulness along the way. A reminder that He is always working, even in the seasons when we can’t yet see what He’s building. As they prepare for marriage in just a few months, my heart is full watching this chapter unfold. Not because they bought a house, but because I’ve seen the foundation God has been laying in each of their lives long before they ever received the keys.

Kate and Mikey, this home will hold memories, laughter, and dreams for years to come. But the greatest blessing isn’t the house itself it’s watching God’s hand on your lives and seeing the incredible people you have become. What a joy it has been to witness a small part of His plan unfold.
