4 things 20 years as a touring musician taught me that I now use every day in real estate:

1️⃣ How to read a legal contract and negotiate the best outcome. That instinct now lives in every contract I negotiate for a client.

2️⃣ How to walk into a room I have never been in and figure it out in 20 minutes. Now I use that instinct the first time I walk through a client’s home.

3️⃣ The show. always. goes. on. Bus breaks down, PA blows out, drummers snare head breaks. You solve it before the crowd notices. My clients almost never know when I put out a fire on a closing.

4️⃣ How to spot a flaky sound guy in 10 seconds. After enough years on the road you just know who shows up.

That is how I built my OKC roster of inspectors, lenders, photographers, stagers, movers, and contractors. When your home sale touches 12 humans, that roster is the whole thing.
