Genuine question... Do you actually know your life insurance details right now?

Not kind of know. Like actually know the coverage amount, who the beneficiary is, where the policy even is.

Most people have something but couldn't tell you the specifics without digging around for 20 minutes. No shame in that, but it's worth knowing. Especially for the people depending on you.

Term vs. Whole Life — let me break this down real quick because I get asked about this all the time.

Term — You pick a timeframe, 10, 20, 30 years. Lower cost. Good for covering your family while the kids are young or the mortgage is still there.

Whole Life — It doesn't expire. Builds cash value over time. You're not just renting protection, you actually own it.

Neither one is the wrong answer — it just depends on your situation. That's literally what I'm here to help you figure out.

Straight talk about your auto insurance... Meeting the state minimum doesn't mean you're actually covered.

Oklahoma's minimum is $25K/$50K for injuries. Sounds good until you're in a serious wreck and the bills come in at six figures. Whatever the insurance doesn't cover, that's coming out of your pocket.
