On the one hand, the latest jobs (weak) and inflation (quite tame) reports could argue for lower rates from the Fed. On the other hand, after more saber-rattling in Iran, oil prices are trending up again, and the national debt rising above $40 trillion creates a longer-term concern about future US borrowing costs.
