So we’ll be closed next Thursday 3.21, but it’s for a good reason. Building maintenance. How exactly does this tie back to Jake McClure Commercial Real Estate? Well, let me give y’all a short storytime: I met this man as a stranger when I was going through h🔥ll, like literally at my first brick and mortar…from the landlords, to the building itself being without proper air conditioning in the Oklahoma summer. He was referred to me by one of his colleagues because he grew up in the restaurant industry and is one of the best commercial realtors around. I needed somewhere to go QUICK! From the first day Jake came into my old place, he recognized my passion and fell in love with the concept of Naija Wife Kitchen. This man sat there and even helped me clean my fryers when it was time for me to move and became a mentor to me to this day. If I need something or have questions about ANYTHING in the industry, he’s literally a call away, and if he doesn’t know, he sends me someone who does. His passion to HELP those who honestly have their hearts and souls into their brands is untouchable. He does this because of seeing it first hand growing up…and honestly (he might get me for saying this 🤣) his main area of focus in commercial real estate is waaayy more profitable than restaurants, but he takes the time out of his busy schedule to devote to small up and coming local restaurants like mine. Going back to my first sentence, Jake made sure to get me into a spot that fit that only fit my budget, but would also have things like routine maintenance/inspections included in my rent, and anything else would be covered by my tentant improvement. If I were to have to come out of pocket for this…I’d be crying right now like I was at the Hudson location lol (and a huuuuge shoutout to the building management for handling it so fast!). It’s so important to have good representation when looking for a commercial spot, especially if you’re in the restaurant industry…and this Jake, he advocates for his clients. So yeah, I’m giving him his flowers today because he’s that guy. If y’all only knew how many times I’ve called him about this or that at all times of the day and yet he still puts up with me almost 2 years later 🤣 It’s just good to have good people in your circle and I’m grateful y’all.
