This was a unique project. This was Megan's grandparents apartment that they lived in for 67 years. We had the great privilege of keeping the character of the space but giving it a bit of a facelift. Super happy with how it turned out!

We've been hard at work bringing this 1998 home into 2023! The kitchen cabinets were dated as were the white tiled countertops. After sanding, applying peel bond, painting, adding new hardware, and installing quartz countertops, we're super happy with how it's turned out! More pictures to come from this latest project.

Fowler Flooring is simply the best in the business when it comes to refinishing and restoring hardwoods. Fred Fowler, and his awesome crew, have brought the floors back to life at our latest flip! Despite the numerous water stains, deep gouges, lifted boards, and warped spots, Fowler Flooring made the floors look young again! The floors are the original oak from 1912. With Fred’s wisdom and suggestion, we decided to leave the floors their natural color, using a clear stain to finish the aged oak. The end result is simply incredible and far exceeded any expectations we had. Fred and his crew’s determination for satisfaction, attention to detail, and patience with the process were impeccable. We were thoroughly impressed with Fred’s work ethic and aim for perfection. He was also a great communicator, easy to reach, and very trustworthy. The aim for refinishing the floors, as well as the entire house, is to keep things as authentic as possible. Our goal with this project is not to make the house look perfect, brand new, or not lived in. The floors, just like the original doors and millwork (baseboards, picture rails, and window sills) have character. We adore the stories told within the original pieces of the house. We also relish the opportunity to buff, sand, and oil the wood that has held this house together. It has been rewarding, through multiple processes and stages, to bring the house back to life. Refinishing the original oak floor has been a highlight along this journey. Restoration is a process that is enjoyable and very rewarding. Huge thanks to Fred Fowler and everyone at Fowler Flooring. We hope to only use Fowler Flooring moving forward at PNW Property Buyers.

It is with heavy hearts we make this post. Megan and I were uncertain whether we wanted to share this news or keep it private. We agreed about the importance of transparency in our business, so here we are.

On the late hours of August 1st, one of our properties fell victim to an arsonist. The arsonist actually attacked our house two times, once at 10 pm and again at 4 am. The fires were lit from a homemade aerosol bomb and cigarette lighters. The damage is significant as the fires impacted every aspect of the home. We will likely have to do a complete renovation.

The most important aspect of this tragedy is our tenant and her fur kids were able to get out of the home safely. We continue to be eternally grateful she and her pups are safe. Still, I think we all feel an intense feeling of heartache and loss. Our tenant lost every single item in her home to fire, smoke, and water damage. She also lost her home and sense of security.

Megs and I heartbroken over the loss of what we lovingly called the ‘The Little House’. The Little House was a huge labor of love for us. We stripped the home down to the studs and rebuilt everything in 2021. We learned so much from the project and were truly proud of the end product.

Hearing the details about the arson attacks against our adored Little House were alarming. It caused a range of emotions for Megan and myself as we both felt violated, personally attacked, and uncertain about the future. We loved that property and put a great deal of ourselves into turning it into a home.

One of our favorite quotes is ‘Circumstances don’t make you, they reveal you.’ Megan and I have often used this quote as inspiration during the challenges we have experienced in life. The loss of the Little House is no exception. Though we are saddened, we continue to be committed to showing we are resilient, determined, and hopeful women. We will bring the Little House back to glory once again.

Kitchen remodel is underway!
Drywall has been completed and first coat of paint is done! New cabinets have been installed! (more pictures to come) It's really coming together, can't wait to share more!
