The official start of summer is Memorial Day weekend, that means CAP-PY Duck ticket sales have officially begun for the 15th Annual CAP-PY Duck Derby. Tickets are available at the Old Forge Visitor's Center, the LivingADK office (behind the Adirondack Bank) and beginning June 20 at the Old Forge Farmers Market. Prices are the same as last year $5 per duck or $20 for a flock of 5.
Get your tickets soon for a chance to win any of the amazing 19 prizes. If you're not carrying much cash, you may purchase your tickets with Venmo or our new non-profit option, Zeffy. Zeffy allows you to purchase with a credit card through a QR code and you have the option to include a transaction fee at whatever level you choose to Zeffy to support their mission of helping non-profits cost effectively.
Every Friday we will feature a prize, toady's feature prize is Prize 19, which is two $35 dinner gift certificates, generously donated by Bryan Bennett of Mountainside Smokehouse & Grill.
