It’s one thing to buy a home when you’re just starting out, but there’s something truly beautiful about choosing a home after you’ve already built a lifetime together 🤍

New beginnings happen at every stage of life, and every client reminds me just how beautiful and unique each chapter can be. B+F raised their children in New York, and as high school sweethearts entering a brand-new season of life, they chose Bergen County for their next chapter. Watching a couple who has been together through it all choose each other—and their next dream—all over again was such an honor. Having spent nearly three decades living right beside Bergen County myself, introducing them to an area so close to my heart made this move even more special.

Sometimes I’m not sure who’s going to miss a house more - the dogs, or the owners.

I was invited into this home as a complete stranger to the sellers. They interviewed a few agents before my partner, June, and I had had the opportunity to meet with them. I’m not sure what made the owners decide to go with us, though I'll flatter myself with all the potentials however, I remember being at that first meeting and how natural the conversations with them felt, and I knew - outside of the house being beautiful, of course - that they were people I wanted to work with. And that’s kind of what I love about this business - you get to meet so many people, walk alongside them through these pivotal moments. And it’s emotional.

Working with buyers is so different than working with sellers. There’s a completely different financial and emotional journey between the two. One feels like more of a start while the other feels like more of an end. But it’s not the end - it’s just the beginning of something new.

Grateful to have worked with these clients and for all the trust and faith they had through it all. Together, we closed for the highest sale in the development in over a year. Wishing them (and their pooches 🐾 ) a beautiful new beginning in their new home, and the new owners a wonderful life here in Warwick 🤍

Ch*****ne showers are the only way to be greeted back to your hometown 🤍🍾

When a past client put Taylor, Joe, and I in touch, Taylor and Joe were figuring out their relocation from Virginia back to Warwick. The distance added a whole extra layer to the house hunting, but we hit the ground running with FaceTime tours and getting them oriented with the local market.

We ended up touring a handful of houses before we saw the one. Anyone buying in the Hudson Valley right now knows how tough it can be, but luck (and some good strategy) was on our side. We submitted one offer, got it accepted against multiple offers, and negotiated under asking price.

Welcoming them back home to Warwick is such an honor. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust they placed in me throughout the process and through the distance of their move. Ch*****ne was popped, worn, and drank for this one 🍾🏡

Over 20 years ago, a new family moved into the house next door to mine in Orangeburg. It didn’t take long before our families just became family. For years, there were literally worn-out paths in the grass from one front door to the other.

So when Kylie reached out to me to help her and Billy find their very first home together right back here in our hometown, it was the ultimate full-circle moment.
