Maxima and Maggie had an amazing show at Region 8 in Saugerties, NY this past week.

Prix St George Open. 3rd place

Inter 1. Open 7th place

This harmonious pair is a joy to watch! Maggie has developed her into an incredible athlete who loves her work! I couldn’t be more proud and happy for them

Now we go onto Devon, and then onto the National finals for which she qualified !

Talk about it Tuesday topic: 🚜 Sharing the Road with Farm Equipment 🌾

Have you noticed more tractors, combines, and other farm equipment on New Jersey roads this time of year? There's a good reason—they're hard at work moving between fields to plant, care for, and harvest the crops that feed our communities. Unlike cars, farm equipment is designed for the field, not the highway.
That means it often travels at speeds of 15–25 mph, is much wider than a standard vehicle, and may need extra room to make turns or navigate narrow roads.

Here's how you can help keep everyone safe:
🚜 Slow down and be patient. A few extra minutes can make all the difference.
↔️ Give equipment plenty of space. Farmers may need to use both lanes briefly to avoid obstacles or safely make wide turns.
🚫 Never pass unless it's legal, safe, and you have a clear view ahead. Farm equipment can turn unexpectedly into field entrances or driveways.
🛑 Watch for the Slow-Moving Vehicle emblem. The orange and red reflective triangle means the vehicle is traveling at 25 mph or less.
📱 Stay alert. Put your phone away and keep your focus on the road.

Behind every tractor is someone working long hours to grow the food, fiber, and other products we rely on every day. A little patience helps protect our farmers, their families, and everyone sharing the road.

Reminder for New Jersey farmers: Farmland Assessment applications are due August 1!

If your farm is located in Camden, Cape May, Mercer, or Somerset County, you can submit your application through the online portal.

Farmland assessment allows land actively devoted to an agricultural use to be taxed on its farm value instead of its development value. This is an important tool for keeping farming viable in New Jersey.

Interesting…..

For most people, Antoni Gaudí is one of history's greatest architects. For the Catholic Church, he may soon be something more.

He spent 40 years building one church, and never rushed it — his client, he said, wasn't in a hurry. That client was God.

In 1926, Gaudí was hit by a tram on his way to evening prayers. He was dressed so plainly that bystanders mistook him for a beggar and took him to the hospital for the poor. By the time anyone realized who he was, it was too late.

A century later, the Vatican has officially declared him "Venerable," recognizing what it calls his heroic virtue — the second major step toward sainthood. Now the next stage depends on a miracle.

A medical commission in Rome is examining the case of a young boy born with a severe heart condition.

Doctors told the family there was nothing more they could do.

The family prayed for Gaudí's intercession.

The boy recovered, and today lives a normal life.

The Vatican is now reviewing hundreds of pages of medical evidence to determine if there's any scientific explanation.

If the miracle is confirmed, Gaudí would be declared Blessed.

A second miracle after that would make him a saint — and likely the first internationally renowned architect ever canonized.
