This week is one of my favorite traditions: my annual rounds through the fabulous Four Seasons community in Elyria, just to say hello to all the fine people here.

The swag bags are packed — football schedules, grocery list pads, notepads… and because nobody should get a knock without a little something, everybody gets a sweet treat. 🍬

🍺 Oktoberfest at The Chalet — 3–7 PM, and it’s free! Cleveland Metroparks’ first annual celebration.

🎃 Trick-or-Treat in the Village — 1:30–3:30 PM at the Strongsville Historical Society. Just $5 per family, or bring a food donation for the food bank.

Apparently, even lions know that LOCATION MATTERS. 😂

Today, 30 lions and tigers from a shuttered zoo in Argentina are beginning their journey to new wildlife sanctuaries in South Africa and the United States.

And honestly… it got me thinking:
