Ready to take the next step in your education journey? Our CSBG Scholarship Program is currently still accepting applications! 💰✨
The Embarras River Basin Agency, Inc. (ERBA), in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) through the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), will have scholarships available for income eligible individuals who want to attend college this fall. ERBA serves the following nine counties: Clark, Coles, Crawford, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland. A limited number of $500 Scholarships will be awarded to eligible applicants in each of these counties.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be attending an Illinois College, University or Community College as a full-time student during the fall 2026 semester, have at least a C average, and must meet CSBG income guidelines. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply.
You may pick up an application to be completed by June 26th ,2025 at the local ERBA office in the county, which you reside, or click the link below to download and print the application, and schedule an appointment to return your completed application.

Mark your calendar! Illinois Free Fishing Days are June 19-22. Free Fishing Days are a great time to discover or rediscover the fun of fishing and introduce children to the activity. During these four days, anyone can fish in Illinois without purchasing a fishing license, salmon stamp or inland trout stamp. This year for the OAC/OCC Summer Children's Theater Workshop, our JR show students will start two days before the rest of the workshop. For students in grades 5th-9th, the first two days of the workshop will be July 1 and 2 from 1:00-3:30 pm. The workshop will then resume as normal on July 6.

For the KIDS show (students in grades 1st-4th), the workshop will begin on July 6th.
