Exactly, what motivates an individual to sacrifice so much of their personal time to making this line of work acceptable? For some it is the lure of wealth and prestige. There is certainly opportunity for ego satisfaction in this industry. An agent’s personal image of success could be based on the quantity of transactions, and the balance of their bank accounts. An agent could boast that they have 20 listings. I would question why they have so many listings that haven’t sold. Personally, in addition to business competency, I believe in making a sincere commitment to the happiness and best interests of my clients. That is not just lip service, it's a promise. My sentiments lean to quality not just quantity. The whole purpose of the pursuit of expertise is to provide the best possible service.
