✨ New beginnings! I have made the bold decision to pivot from real estate and am looking for an opportunity where I can flex my strengths of high empathy, creative problem solving, building connections, and hyper-focus on work that is meaningful and impactful to me. I am open to what that looks like and excited for what the future holds!!

This change aligns with my personal value to be more present and available for my family during evenings and weekends, which I have greatly missed! Besides that, industry changes and market conditions have increased the difficulty of making a living as a Realtor. The last 12 months, it has gotten increasingly expensive to be an agent, while income across the industry has been shrinking. During the past four years, the housing market has been historically dynamic, with shrinking affordability and record low housing inventory squeezing home buying opportunities further. (WA State is still 50 out of 50 in housing supply, folks!😣)

It’s bittersweet to make this change because I truly loved helping people find their home and navigate the complex process of buying or selling a home. Getting my license in December 2019, I had no idea I would be faced with a historically dynamic housing market- I was drinking from the firehose the whole time! I embraced it and focused on why I got into real estate: growing generational wealth for more people through homeownership!! My decision to volunteer my time every month to teach home buyer classes through the Washington State Housing Finance Commission is a decision that I am glad I made and would do again. I learned so much and was able to share it with many future homebuyers by teaching this class. It was my calling and joy to hold my first-time buyer's hands through the rollercoaster and heartbreak of losing to multiple offers to bidding wars they could not compete with. And I will always treasure key days I shared with clients turned friends; handing over keys in spite of the challenges was extra sweet because I was able to help them creatively solve the affordability problem and find a home they loved!!

So I have arrived at this career pivot! I'm open to embracing whatever opportunities arise and eager to see what the future brings! I embrace lifelong learning and am currently finishing the professional certificate for Project Management through Google/Coursera. So far, I've learned that most of the work I've done across many work and life experiences has been project management! I’m so excited to be learning the framework, tools and formalized processes of project management through this course because I can see how powerful and effective they are towards driving the project's deliverable outcome. I know I will be able to put these skills and knowledge to use in my next role and I'm sooooo excited about it!

With a larger yard, your dog will have plenty of room to sniff and explore, making walks around the neighborhood more interesting and enjoyable for both of you.

Space for playtime: A bigger yard means more space for your dog's favorite activities like chasing a ball, playing fetch, or just rolling around in the grass. It's sure to be their new favorite spot!

Room to roam: We all know that dogs love to run and stretch their legs. A bigger yard will give them the freedom to do so, without having to worry about them getting too close to the street or neighboring properties.

Puppy paradise: Imagine coming home from work and seeing your dog happily playing and lounging in their very own backyard paradise. It's the perfect place for them to relax and enjoy being outside without having to leave your property.

Let me help you find a home with a bigger yard for your furry friend! Contact me today and let's get started on finding your dream home.

Don’t Let Your Student Loans Delay Your Homeownership Plans

If you have student loans and want to buy a home, you might have questions about how your debt affects your plans. Do you have to wait until you’ve paid off those loans before you can buy your first home? Or is it possible you could still qualify for a home loan even with that debt? Here’s a look at the latest information so you have the answers you need.

A Bankrate article explains: “Roughly 60 percent of U.S. adults who have held student loan debt have put off making important financial decisions due to that debt . . . For Gen Z and millennial borrowers alone, that number rises to 70 percent.”

This includes one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make, buying a home. But you should know, even with student loans, waiting to buy a home may not be necessary. While everyone’s situation is unique...
