The kind of place where your phone stays in your pocket, the kids stay out past dinner and every evening ends around the fire. Seabrook has a way of slowing everything down and 269 Compass Street is exactly the home to do it from.

Riley graduated. I could not be more proud of this kid.
Smart, funny, kind — he has always been all three. He loves photography, loves figuring out how things work, and has a curiosity about the world that makes every conversation with him interesting. Watching him grow into the person he is today has been one of my favorite things.
The world is lucky to have him in it. Congratulations Riley. On to the next adventure.

I capped this month. If you’re not in real estate, that means I’ve hit my maximum commission contribution to my brokerage for the year. Eight years in and it still feels like a win worth celebrating.

And the first thing I thought about wasn’t the number. It was a post I saw from an agent I really admire. She was sharing advice for new agents and she said: you have to keep your foot on the gas until the end of time.

She was talking to people on day one. Eight years in, it stopped me cold.

Because here’s the thing about this business. Nobody handed me a book of clients. I built this from my own life, my own relationships, people who knew me and decided to trust me with one of the biggest decisions they’d ever make. And then something really humbling started happening. Other agents, people I respect deeply, began calling me. Not with their average clients. With their parents. Their best friends. The people they’ve been in relationship with for years. Handing them to me and saying, take care of them.

That doesn’t happen by accident. And it doesn’t stay if you let up.

Eight years in I understand something I couldn’t have fully understood at the start. The work doesn’t get easier and you don’t get to coast. Every relationship in this business is alive. It needs tending. Consistency. Showing up even when there’s no transaction on the table.

Foot on the gas. Year one. Year eight. Until the end of time.

Thinking about buying in Seabrook? Swipe before you decide. New construction might seem like the obvious choice but resale has advantages that are hard to ignore.
