🪩🕺Senior Prom at the Colonial Inn was a smashing hit! An amazing meal, fantastic music, dancing, dressing up, it was a day to remember! Our King and Queen were the cutest pair🐾

🌺Hawaiian day at The Colonial Inn🌺
We danced and sang and took pictures all day long, and finished the day off with some shaved ice! 🍧 Such a fun event! Thank you to the amazing “Oly-A” Ukulele group for giving us another performance to remember. We love having you! And thank you Mike for showing up to put a smile on all of our faces, your happiness is contagious! 🌺 🌺 🍧

We are excited to say that we have 14 beautiful painted lady butterflies growing strong! Due to their early exit, we will be releasing them into our gardens tomorrow, July 9th, at 3:30pm. We will meet outside, behind the Colonial inn, near the gazebo.

Over the last 3 weeks, we have been watching the beautiful life cycle of the butterfly. We started with 15 creepy caterpillars, they built their cocoons and we have 11 who have officially emerged as beautiful painted lady butterflies. We are still waiting on the last few to make their presence before we release them. 🦋
Due to their early appearance, our butterfly release is rescheduled to
Thursday, July 9th @ 3:30pm in the gardens behind the Colonial inn by the Gazebo.

We had an early celebration of the Fourth of July with Uncle Sam and his sidekick! We had so much fun! Have a great weekend everyone, stay safe and enjoy the sunshine!

In preparation for the 4th of July, we made door signs out of donated ribbon and cut up fabric. It was so much fun and they all turned out wonderfully.

It was the perfect fishing trip. The weather was just right, but the company was even better! Thank you to the volunteers at Noel Coles fishing pond, we are already excited for next year! Thank you to our residents son who is willing to take the fish and smoke them for us, we look forward to our delicious snack in a few days! 🎣🐟

Today we celebrated and remembered the wonderful Sylvia Halldorson. It was incredible to witness the expression of familial love today between her family by blood and family at the Colonial Inn. Her presence is missed every day and we will carry a piece of her story and legacy with us always❤️
