Working with people and serving them is Chris Smith’s passion. Previous to his real estate career, he traveled the world by living and working on a hospital ship. That work made him quite knowledgeable about homes! After returning from traveling to West Africa for the third time, Chris went to work in the non-profit sector to help people with disabilities find employment in their community. At the

same time, he graduated from Northwest University with a Bachelor degree in Business Management. Family is also important to Chris. He has a son who will turn two in October who keeps him on his toes! His wife is a kindergarten teacher at Lydia Hawk elementary in Lacey. Chris has extended family that lives in Tumwater and he and his wife love living near family plus all the benefits of raising children in Thurston County. They especially enjoy the parks, lakes, and Children’s Museum in Olympia. Chris spends his days working with delightful clients, showing homes, hosting open houses, reading over home inspection reports, previewing homes, negotiating contracts, putting a SOLD sign on a lawn or passing keys over to an ecstatic new home owner.
