Five years ago, this building became Oak’s home. Since then, we’ve had a front-row seat to the continued transformation of the Leavenworth corridor while experiencing plenty of growth and change of our own.
We’ve been fortunate to play a small part in that revitalization, welcoming new businesses to the corridor, helping existing businesses relocate and grow here, watching older buildings take on new life, and seeing new owner-occupied, market-rate, and affordable housing added throughout the neighborhood.
Now, 3219 Leavenworth is ready for its next chapter. Congratulations to Leanne Prewitt, Brittany Wozny and Katie Herzog of Ervin & Smith on their purchase of the building. Their plans include rezoning the property, utilizing TIF financing, and making public improvements for a safer Leavenworth Street. Bringing another professional services firm to the corridor aligns with the vision of the newly created Leavenworth Business Improvement District that Leanne and Brittany helped create, making for another positive step in the neighborhood’s continued evolution.
