Every transaction has a story, and this one is proof that sometimes the right home just has a way of finding the right family.

Emily & Trey began their search from out of state and were under contract on a different home before deciding to walk away after the inspection. Not long after, this beautiful FSBO in Underwood caught their eye.

Even though the sellers chose to represent themselves, they invited me to continue representing Emily & Trey throughout the transaction. We actually started out as the backup offer, and when the first contract fell through, my buyers moved quickly and everything came together.

What made this one even more special were all of the unexpected small-world connections we discovered along the way. Those moments made it feel like this home was meant to be theirs all along.

Under Contract 🎉

This one was a journey in the best way.

My buyers are relocating from out of town with their teenage kids, and over the past month we explored just about every corner of Southwest Iowa — from rural acreage properties to neighborhoods closer to the metro. They made two separate trips to Omaha to narrow down what mattered most and really define the feel, location, and lifestyle they were looking for.

The inventory in their price range and for their specific needs was definitely limited, so we got creative. We searched both on and off market opportunities, leaned on my network of agents across multiple brokerages, and even did a few FaceTime tours when the right homes popped up after they had already headed back home.

Then this one hit the market.

I was able to get through it quickly, confirm it checked the boxes we’d been searching for, and get an offer written before someone else beat us to it.

So excited for this family and thankful we found a home that truly fits what they were hoping for as they make their move here. 🏡.

Just Sold in Lincoln 🎉

This one was a team effort from start to finish. My seller put so much time, energy, and care into getting this home ready for the market and it absolutely paid off. Every detail showed, from the photos to the in-person showings, and buyers noticed right away.

We listed at $245,000 and received multiple offers the very first weekend on the market.

So excited for my seller as they move on to their next chapter and grateful to have been part of the process. 🏡

Under Contract 🎉

Not sure if this weekend was a marathon or a sprint… but we covered some ground. From Papillion to Gretna to Elkhorn, three full days of showings, a few surprises and finally a “this is the one” moment.

Excited for my friend, her husband, and their adorable little kiddos as they make their way back to Nebraska and get ready to put down roots here.

Now onto inspections and the next steps!

Today at our annual company awards luncheon, I was completely surprised to be recognized for my industry involvement.

It hasn’t quite been a full year since I moved my licenses over to Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate | The Good Life Group, but I’ve never doubted that it was the right move for me.

One of the things that stood out most today was how our leadership celebrates more than just sales numbers. Community involvement, personal growth, mentorship, and the impact we have beyond transactions were all highlighted. And while the agents and teams here truly are some of the best of the best in both volume and units, (our brokerage ranked #2 out of all BHGREs nation-wide 👏🎉 and we have the #1 BHGRE agent as well 👀) what I admired most was the shared focus on being good people, good neighbors, friends, and colleagues.

It was also so awesome to see so many of my colleagues doing incredible things for themselves, their teams, the community and the brokerage.

Feeling really grateful to be part of it all.

Just sold in Ralston! 🏡

This one came together pretty quickly. After meeting my buyer, we spent a couple days touring homes and when this one came up, he knew it was the one. We wrote the offer that weekend and today it’s officially his.

The best part of this deal though was the connection behind it. His mom is a past client of mine and she trusted me to help her son find a home for him and his two boys. Referrals like that mean so much.

I have a feeling the first thing coming out of the moving boxes this weekend is the grill. Something tells me there’s a steak dinner happening in that backyard very soon. 🔥🥩
