I don’t talk about this enough on here, but maybe I should.
I’m not somebody who has scripture memorized front to back, but there’s one verse I heard a while back that has really stuck with me:
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3)
That’s been real for me.
There have been a lot of times in life where I’ve tried to carry everything myself, business, pressure, decisions, responsibilities, all of it. Commercial real estate is a grind, and if I’m being honest, I used to think the answer was just work harder, push more, and figure it all out on my own.
Hard work matters, but trying to carry everything yourself will wear you out.
For me, faith in Jesus has changed the way I walk through all of it.
Not because life got easier. It didn’t. Not because business got easier either. It definitely didn’t.
But I’m more grounded now. More steady. More clear on what actually matters. It’s changed how I handle pressure, how I treat people, and especially how I try to show up with my family.
I’m far from perfect, but I know who I trust.
This Easter, I’m thankful for Jesus, for grace I didn’t earn, and for the peace that comes from knowing I was never supposed to carry all of this alone.
All glory to God.
