To write an offer on a home you will need a preapproval letter. With homes selling quickly, you want to be prepared to write an offer when you find your perfect space. It's also helpful to work with an experienced mortgage expert to make sure you find a loan type, downpayment and monthly payment that you are comfortable with!

Buying a home can seem like a daunting task! But don’t panic - it doesn't have to be overwhelming. Here is a quick step-by-step guide on how long it takes to buy a home:

1. Get your finances in order 💰 This includes getting pre-approved for a loan and saving for a down payment. Depending on your credit score and income, this can take anywhere from 1-4 months.

2. Start searching 🔍 Utilize a buyer's agent, ME! 😊 to help you find the perfect home. Depending on your budget and area, it can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to 6 months.

3. Negotiations 🤝 Once you’ve found the right home, it’s time to make an offer and negotiate a price with the seller. This process can take several days up to 2 weeks depending on how quickly both parties come to an agreement.

4. The paperwork 📝 This includes completing an inspection, getting insurance, and finalizing a loan. It usually takes 3-4 weeks to get all the paperwork and approvals in order.

5. Closing time! 🏠 Once the paperwork is ready, it’s time to close on the property and make it officially yours.
