One of the best parts about finding your dream home is discovering the incredible neighborhood spots nearby, and Omaha has some of the very best!

Omaha Restaurant Week begins tomorrow and runs through the 20th, featuring special 3-course dinner menus at top local spots in the city! The annual event helps support Food Bank for the Heartland with a portion of proceeds being donated to charity. With dozens of amazing restaurants on the list this year, I’ve shared a few of my favorites to celebrate the start this phenomenal event.

Inventory continues to climb, giving buyers even more options and breathing room to make thoughtful decisions as we head into late summer. While overall prices moving slightly, high buyer demand remains clear as properly prepared, strategically priced homes are still selling fast and generating serious interest for sellers.

And with many of the historic homes in the area recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, there’s a distinctive neighborhood feel to Dundee with character and long-term potential enticing new homeowners.

In an excitement to connect with neighbors and local businesses, the neighborhood’s summer festival titled Dundee Day (Dundee Day), set for August 22nd this year, offers an opportunity to engage with vendors, local businesses, and enjoy the beauty of the Dundee area.

As summer turns to fall, I’m grateful to be celebrating nearly four years as a Realtor with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate The Good Life Group!

One of my favorite questions clients ask is how I got into real estate and why I chose The Good Life Group. The answer is actually very simple: I was looking for a brokerage whose values reflected my own. Tom Simmons encouraged me to pursue real estate and has been an incredible mentor throughout my journey. His vision, and ultimately the heart of The Good Life Group, has always been rooted in community, relationships, and serving the neighborhoods we call home.

Your home’s exterior should feel like a natural extension of the inside.

One of my favorite ways to elevate an outdoor space is by building on what’s already there. Mature landscaping paired with small, stylish details can transform existing patios and porches. I personally love using a wicker tray, candle, fresh greenery, or even a weather-resistant lamp to make outdoor spaces feel cozy and inviting.

At my own home, we recently refreshed this little outdoor corner by rearranging our furniture, adding new greenery, and incorporating soft lighting. It’s amazing how a few simple updates can make a space feel brand new 🌿

Whether you’re enjoying summer with family or preparing to sell, creating an outdoor space that feels welcoming helps everyone imagine themselves right at home.

Saturday, July 4th: Omaha Farmers Market (Omaha Farmers Market)  8AM–12:30PM in the Old Market.

4th of July Beach Party at Heartwood Omaha  from 2PM–10PM.  4th of July with Omaha Storm Chasers, first pitch at 7:05PM and fireworks after.   Sunday, July 5th: Omaha Farmers Market  9:00 AM–1:00 PM in Aksarben Village.  The RiverFront Community Concert (The RiverFront) featuring Omaha Symphony and fireworks from 8:30PM -10PM!
