One of the hardest parts of real estate… 😭 Sometimes the people you work with become people you genuinely care about…and then the transaction ends. 🥹

For the last year, I’ve had the privilege of helping this incredible family build their dream lake home in Valley, from standing on a pile of sand overlooking the water for the very first time, to closing day today.

To celebrate, I gifted them a handmade charcuterie board designed to look like the lake (because it felt too perfect not to 🩵) and framed a photo from that first visit to the lot…before there was a house, before there were walls (or an insanely large garage) 😂, just a vision and excitement for what was to come.

Somewhere along the way, these clients turned into family. The kind of people who are warm, fun, down to earth, and IMPOSSIBLE not to love. I’m pretty sure I gained an extra set of parents, and I’m not mad about it!

Congratulations on closing day. I cannot wait to watch all the memories you make here. 🌊🏡🤍 Shout out to for being the best 🙌🏼 They are in before Memorial Day and ready to make some summer memories!

But before I market a home, I ask one question:
Who is actually going to buy this house?
What are they looking for? What feeling are they chasing when they walk through the door and think, “this is the one”? And then I build your marketing around THAT.

Your photos shouldn’t just document a home. They should tell a story. And your listing description shouldn’t read like a boring spec sheet no one remembers 10 seconds later.

You have a split second to make buyers feel something before they ever step inside.
That’s the difference between simply listing a home…and positioning it with intention.

The home in these photos sold before I could even get the sign in the yard because of the pre-listing marketing & networking activities. Full asking price. All cash. Favorable terms and closing timeline for sellers. That’s how it’s done!

To me, being a Realtor is never just about the houses, the transactions. It’s about timing, alignment, and walking alongside someone in a season of life that matters.

It’s all by design. God has a way of placing people in each other’s lives exactly when they’re needed most. Ever since my Dad passed away, I have felt a shift in my alignment in this world. I am in places that need me, with people that need me. Over and Over again. Thanks Dad…I see what you’re doing up there.

This wasn’t just about getting to the closing table. It was about resilience. It was about moving forward, even when your heart is carrying something heavy. It was about choosing a new beginning. Kirsten and I had never met before this, but by the end - we had laughed together and cried together on more than one occasion. I can see my Dad and her Mom in heaven high fiving each other for this one. 🙌🏼

Kirsten - here’s to a new chapter, a fresh start, and a home filled with possibility.

So incredibly grateful for the trust, the journey, and the reminder that this work is bigger than real estate. ✨
