Tomorrow my work, Veritas Community Services, is holding an End of Summer Bash/Fundraiser at our facility from 10 am - 1 pm. Address is 5720 S 77th St in Ralston. We are trying to raise money to host a Halloween Dance for our clients with intellectual disabilities to socialize and have a wonderful night. We hope to continue doing this every year and eventually invite other community services similar to our facility to join us in the future and continue building this tradition to give our clients and others the chance to work towards something exciting and continue socializing outside of our normal facility! We will host a car show that you can enter, a silent auction and raffle, a cake walk and bake sale. We also will be selling plants our clients have grown in our facility and have carnival style games available to play including a dunk tank which I have volunteered for of course. 😉 So if you've ever wanted to dunk me in cold water, which if you know me you know I will hate, now is your chance and I would love to see you there! We'll have live music from a DJ and food available. I am super duper excited and know it will be a lot of fun! 😊❤️

TODAY I got the chance to close on my first property for my buyers and experience the excitement of knowing they get to walk through the front door of their new home tonight knowing it's theirs! We started this home building process in November and it's almost August now. Watching a family connect and build their dream home together, kiddos and all involved, was an experience I didn’t know I would get so soon but am SO glad I did. The amount of learning and connections I made during this process is something I will forever be grateful for and I gained so much confidence as a new agent. I cannot thank my team leader, Shannon, enough for helping me get through the new construction process and building a home from the ground up. The buyers chose their style of home, location, the lot - and from there on every single inch of the home was planned out, customized and chosen by my buyers completely. ‼️ First home sale, on my own, in the books! What an experience! So many wonderful memories made in this home that it’s a bit sad to say goodbye but the excitement for my sellers (and family) moving on to their dream home surpasses that.
