IHanging clothes hangers from electrical wires/cables in your home, there are several reasons not to:

⚡ Electrical shock risk: If the hanger contacts an exposed or damaged wire, it can become energized. A metal hanger is an excellent conductor.
🔥 Fire hazard: A metal hanger could bridge two electrical conductors or create a short circuit, potentially causing arcing, overheating, or a fire.
🧵 Damage to wiring: Hangers can put mechanical stress on cables, especially if they're being used to support weight.
🏠 Damage to insulation: Sharp hanger edges can nick or compress the protective insulation around electrical wiring.
⚠️ Plastic hangers aren't necessarily safe: While plastic doesn't conduct electricity well, hanging anything from electrical cables can still damage the cable or interfere with its installation.
📋 Electrical wiring isn't designed for hanging items: Residential electrical cables should generally be supported using the proper electrical fasteners and according to code—not used as a clothesline or support.

If you're talking about the electrical wires running between poles outside your house, that's an even bigger concern: never hang anything from them or touch them with a hanger. They can carry lethal voltages, and even getting close can be dangerous.
