We ran it back, gang!
Number one in residential sales at PJ Morgan for the second year in a row. ☺️
I won't bore you with the stats but wanted to offer a few thank you's and random musings.
THANK YOUS:
To Kelly, Ivy and Will for being the best motivation I can think of to work hard and provide. Love you.
To Ryan Ellis, Megan Bengtson & Susan Clark for your leadership and support. I got into at least one sticky situation (it happens if you do enough real estate) & they showed up and had my and my client's back - It's rare to get this kind of on-the-ground support at the broker level and I'm just really grateful for who they are and how they lead our company.
To Kelsey Landenberger, Breanna Johnson, Bryce Danielson - PJ Morgan Real Estate, Ky Walker and all other agents who helped to cover showings and much more. I may have not survived the year without your help 🤣!
To Miranda Keeler and her awesome team at Mirato Co for stepping in midyear to help manage transactions with excellence and heart. Also to Amanda Vigneri Zahm and our awesome sales support team at PJ Morgan.
And of course, the biggest thanks goes to my amazing clients! It really is such an honor and joy to get to walk alongside you through one of life's biggest moments. I don't take your trust for granted and I think all of you are so talented and interesting and doing great things in our community.
RANDOM MUSINGS:
1. I'm hoping to share more stories this year and have some really great ones from 2025. Good people making big moves in life and business, and some amazing properties that saw those dreams come together. Here's to telling more stories to come in 2026!
2. I was let go from my previous job before diving head first into real estate, and one of the reasons stated was due to "work flow issues" (or something to that affect, I can't remember the exact wording). I felt so misunderstood because I knew I was working hard and was also producing results that others who are wired differently wouldn't be able to (shout out to all my ADHD, creative, enneagram 4, highly sensitive & intuitive friends out there). But because my wiring and way of existing in the world didn't line up with what the leader of the organization saw as "best" or "normal", my unique contributions were seen as a detriment instead of the benefit that they were.
All this to say, I encourage you to trust how you see the world and how you want to create and build things - even when others don't get it or see your way as "wrong". I was able to move on and build a thriving business I'm really proud of by leaning into my unique outlook, wiring, strengths and quirks, not by trying to be someone I'm not and fit someone else's ideal. So basically, be you, trust your intuition, forget the critics and just go for it.
3. Lastly, social media is weird! It leads to comparison and can make people feel like they're not measuring up (This goes more me as well, there are always agents doing more than you!). I know you know this but it's not glamorous behind the scenes. Along with the good stuff, the year brought plenty of second-guessing, mental health struggles, near-burnout, mistakes and all the other things that come with being human. I'm just making it up as I go for the most part which anyone can do 🤣!
I have some exciting stuff in the works as I enter my ninth year (how?!?) in business. More stories to tell, more cool people, more cool properties, more collaboration. If you or your friends and family have a vision for the year that involves real estate, let's talk ASAP.
