Our 2026-2027 Ambassadors kicked things off with Unicameral 101, OMLB history and an honest panel with Councilman Don Rowe, Commissioner Roger Garcia and Senator Terrell McKinney.

Pull up a seat at our next Board Meeting.

The Omaha Municipal Land Bank Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 at 8:30AM. We are meeting at Metro's Fort Omaha Campus in Mule Barn Building 21, Room 112.

If you cannot join in person, you can join the meeting via Zoom. Board meetings are open to the public. Whether you are a developer, community partner or simply curious about the work OMLB is doing, you are welcome to attend. Public access to governance is a cornerstone of how OMLB operates and we encourage members of the development and civic community to join us.

It is official! The 2026-2027 OMLB Ambassador Cohort is underway and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Every year this nine-month program brings together local realtors, developers, housing advocates and everyday community leaders who want to make a tangible difference in our metro.

What does an ambassador actually do? They spend the next several months doing hands-on training, visiting Land Bank properties and learning from local experts about how to transform vacant spaces into vibrant neighborhood hubs.

This new group has some amazing momentum to build on and we know they are up for the challenge. Check out these photos from our kickoff!
