How would you describe the company culture in just three words, and why?
"Dependable- I can count on Haley to maintain a good reputation with our vendors to keep supplies coming and the property running. Compassionate- I am thankful to work with some of the most caring people in the business especially over the last 2 years when I’ve needed it the most. Giving- I love seeing all the volunteer work and donations. Filling back packs or snack bags to give kids is one of my favorite things we have done during leadership conference."

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want with you? "Dessert (if you know me you know my passion for dessert), My Husband and Chapstick"

What is one word you would use to describe Jasmine and why?
"Loyal. Throughout years of transitions—including property sales, acquisitions, and organizational changes—Jasmine has remained a constant. Her commitment to Haley Residential and her ability to adapt, grow, and excel in every environment truly set her apart."

hat do you love most about working at Haley?
“Far and above the people. I have been saying for years I have the best boss at the company. Lee Schwendiman has been a great mentor over the years, and I don’t think I would be in the position I am without his tutelage.”

What has been your most memorable moment at Haley?
“When I first started, I was given the name Matt the Intern. I maintained that monicker for the next 7 years, even though I was working as a full-time analyst. This reminds me of the time, as an intern, Jack Haley stopped by my desk and said, “… the most important thing you can do is make yourself invaluable.” 15 years later, and I am still striving for this.”

What is your favorite food or cuisine? “BBQ - Ribs/Brisket/Pulled pork”

Lee~
What is your favorite memory of working with Matt?
“When he debuted as a duck or preformed a magic trick in leadership conference presentations . . . Houdini he is not but a Vendor Man in the making . . . maybe? 😊”

How has Matt grown or evolved since joining Haley?
“Matt has grown tremendously—from a technically strong individual contributor into a key strategic partner who plays an important role in shaping how we leverage data across the organization. His continued development, collaboration with leadership, and focus on driving results has expanded his impact beyond just building reports to helping shape conversations around performance, strategy, and where we’re going next.”

We’re incredibly proud of our Culture Committee for raising $2,210 in Q3 in support of the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention – Nebraska Chapter. Even more inspiring, one of our Haley team members generously stepped forward to match the donation, amplifying the impact even further.

AFSP’s mission is powerful and deeply important: to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de. Their work focuses on prevention education, support for loss survivors, advocacy, and critical research—all while ensuring resources reach every corner of Nebraska, including rural and underserved communities.
