I thank God for being born at this time and in this place called the USA. A nation whose freedoms have allowed the message of the gospel to travel without chains. Not that there is any way the gospel could ever truly be chained... but what a gift to live where it can be shared so openly.
Here we are, 250 years in, still facing challenges and still learning. Yet our story also bears the fruit of countless lives in the midst of great darkness still transformed by God.
My hope is that we would continue to use whatever station in life we've been given to point others toward our truest freedom and greatest privilege: knowing our Father in heaven through His son, Jesus.
May our lives, our hearts, and our attitudes continue to shine a light on who He is and what He's done.
