Congratulations to the King family on the purchase of their beautiful new home in Gretna!

Like many young families, they had simply outgrown their current home but weren’t sure how the process of buying and selling at the same time would actually work. Their biggest concern was timing everything correctly without creating unnecessary stress, double moves, or overlapping mortgage payments.

After sitting down together and walking through the entire process step by step, they quickly gained clarity and confidence in the plan. We created a strategy for preparing their current home for the market while also beginning the search for the right next home for their family. Once they found “the one,” everything moved quickly. Their current home was listed within days of getting under contract on the new home, and a buyer was secured within 14 hours of it going on the market.

From there, it was all about coordination and careful timing. We aligned both closings to happen on the same day and negotiated two extra days of possession on their previous home to give them a smoother, less stressful transition into the next chapter.

Everything came together beautifully thanks to preparation, patience, and great partnerships. Helping families navigate the sell-before-you-buy process with clarity and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. 🏡🗝️😍
