The Mutual of Omaha tower continues to rise in downtown Omaha and is reaching an exciting milestone. It is now approaching its final height and taking clear shape on the skyline and within the building itself.

At 677 feet tall, the tower will redefine Omaha’s skyline and help set the stage for a next-generation workplace designed to support Mutual of Omaha’s future growth and innovation. Construction continues steadily through the winter, with progress on the structural core, enclosure, and interior build-out.

From structural steel climbing to Level 33 to the tower crane now standing 780 feet tall, this iconic project is transforming Omaha’s skyline. The Mutual of Omaha Tower is climbing toward its full height, and once complete, it will be the tallest building in Nebraska and a new landmark for Omaha's skyline.

As the developer, it's been incredible to watch this project come to life, floor by floor. More than a building, it's a vision for the future of how we work and live.

At every phase of construction, our team ensures that this development meets the highest standards of quality, innovation, and precision.
 
One of the latest milestones: glass installation is now underway. Starting at the lower east side of the podium near the main entrance, these sleek panels will continue wrapping the building, defining its architectural presence. Meanwhile, steel installation around the core is progressing, providing a clearer sense of the tower’s full scale.
 
Another notable update: the self climber, a critical piece of equipment used to form the tower’s structural core, has been temporarily removed to be adjusted for the smaller top section of the core. Once reinstalled, it will facilitate the final phases of vertical construction, bringing the project closer to completion.
