We want to thank the students from the American School of Karate and Judo for choosing Open Door Mission for their service project as part of earning their brown belts! Your willingness to serve others is a wonderful example of giving back to the community. If you would like to volunteer, organize a service project, or get involved in helping our community, please visit https://opendoormission.org/get-involved/

💙🙌 THIS is what community looks like!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Omaha Street School, their amazing students, and dedicated staff for hosting a food and school supply drive and partnering with us to make a difference!

But they didn’t stop at collecting donations! For FOUR WEEKS, students showed up and served alongside us, learning firsthand about homelessness in our city and how they can be part of the solution. ❤️

We are so grateful for a partnership that goes beyond giving — it’s about building understanding, growing compassion, and inspiring the next generation to serve their community.

👏 Thank you, Omaha Street School, for showing up and making an impact!

📣 Want to make a difference, too? There are so many ways to get involved!
✨ Volunteer with us
✨ Host a food, clothing, or school supply drive
✨ Invite our staff to speak to your students about homelessness in our community

🏫 Schools, churches, businesses, and community groups — WE’D LOVE TO PARTNER WITH YOU!

👇 Drop a comment or send us a message to learn how you can get involved!
