Yep! Is always the answer to an opportunity to spend the afternoon in Little Bohemia. 

Yesterday, the team headed out on another agent field trip! This time, we explored the incredible growth and energy happening in Little Bo. 

We visited:

✅ The theatre space at 1425 S 13th 
✅ ...and a quick stop at & for happy hour!

While in the area, I caught a great talk by Jeff Beals of Omaha, as part of ’s “Building Community Through Conversation” series. 🎤

Days like this are a great reminder that real estate is so much more than a transaction. It’s about building relationships, understanding our neighborhoods, and seeing what’s possible when a community grows together.

What is your dream job?

For years, my answer has been: “Martha Stewart.”

(Don’t worry, I’m staying the course in real estate! But a lifestyle enthusiast is very much my hobby.)

I recently finished listening to Ina Garten’s memoir, “Be Ready When the Luck Happens,” which led me to rewatch the “Martha” documentary. It was a fascinating study in contrast.

These two are absolute powerhouses. They are both innovators who navigated their industries and built legendary brands. But their philosophies couldn’t be more different:

✨ Martha: Built an empire on relentless work, meticulous perfection, and scale.
✨ Ina: Focused on “luck” (which she defines as preparation meeting opportunity) and authenticity.

Many of us (myself included!) fall into the comparison trap. We look at someone else’s trajectory and feel like we’re “behind” or not doing the “right” things because our process looks different. It’s a reminder, success isn’t about copying a blueprint, it’s about being the most you.

Whether you’re building a real estate portfolio or a media empire, the goal is to make moves that align with your personality—not someone else’s template.

Yesterday afternoon, the agents at  took a fantastic tour of .

A huge shout-out to Ryan Ellis and Derick Lewin for walking us through the history of the area and the specific details of this incredible project.

We got to explore:

We even got the inside scoop on the work happening over at The Nova. 
 
It’s amazing to see how much thought, effort, and creativity has gone into building this neighborhood!

I recently joined the board of SammyStrong Foundation, an organization that supports kids and families who are fighting pediatric brain cancer. The foundation is nearing in on supporting 100 families. As a board member, I’m looking forward to see how we can help drive the next chapter of growth and support.
