Speechless.

4 days, 35+ miles on foot through some of the most incredible country, several close calls, camp/hunts shared with a few great friends, and the opportunity to harvest a bull of a lifetime.

To have it all come together on a mature 6×6 like this is still hard for me to comprehend. This is the kind of experience and bull you dream about, and one I won’t soon forget.

Beyond grateful for the entire experience.

How cool is this?! 🫎 We’ve had this cow elk hanging around near our home here in Monroe County lately, and it has been pretty awesome to watch her feed in the evenings!

Wisconsin has been working to bring elk back to the state since the 1990s after they disappeared from Wisconsin over a century ago. Seeing one right here in this part of Monroe County is pretty rare and a great reminder of how amazing Wisconsin’s wildlife is!

Definitely a sight we won’t forget! 🦌🇺🇸
