My ramble of thoughts this week…

Business isn’t always glamorous. People see the sold posts, awards and happy closing pictures. They don’t see the countless showings, trainings, paperwork, market challenges, constantly being on the road and on call 7 days a week, communication with lenders and attorneys to ensure things are on track or the difficult conversations when things crumble.

Fighting for your clients in conversations they’ll never hear while trying to be present for yourself and your family too. That’s just scratching the surface.

I walked away from a very successful career as a chef to follow my passion and have more availability for my family. SO much good has come from that decision but it’s taken work, perseverance and sacrifices.

This month has been difficult as hell. You can put months into something and watch it fall apart no matter what you try to put it on track.

I truly care about the people I work with. When things don’t work out, I feel it too. But they still need answers and a next step. We regroup, figure out our options and keep working toward their goal.

Even with all the good this year, I’ve had to remind myself I’m human too. Taking a minute to get your mind right is okay. Then keep showing up.

My goal this year was to help 26 families secure properties. I’ve helped 24 so far and I’m grateful beyond words to everyone who’s put their trust in me.
