My first & only trip to visit where my family is from was jam-packed, as we did 5 major cities in 2 weeks. We got to stay at a in Makati, and a 2 star hotel in . I got to try Philippine fruits I never tried in the US such as Chico, , and atis. I got to meet relatives I had never met in person before, and unfortunately, a relative who I’ll never see again on this earth. I’m grateful I went. I got to see where my parents grew up, and I got to see a parallel universe that isn’t as diverse as The United States. I am so grateful of experiencing the racial diversity of growing up here in the US. I had to explain to my cousin that the beaches in Boracay are 10x better than what we have in California. There are pros & cons to life in many countries if you compare each country.
Little did I know after the fact that was a hot spot for utilizing crypto. I could’ve bought ice cream and other food and goods using Bitcoin & I didn’t realize it until after the fact. One day, I’d like to visit again.
