Pending Home Sales Rise for the Second Straight Month in September!!!

Pending home sales rose for the second straight month in September, helped by lower mortgage rates.

The National Association of Realtors announced this past week that U.S. home sales increased 2.5% in July -- a sign that lower mortgage rates have produced a surge in home-buying. Average interest rates on 30-year mortgages have fallen to 3.60%, the lowest in nearly three years.

Housing affordability remains an issue for many would-be buyers, but the market saw increased purchases in July.
