We’ve all heard the rhetoric about being “tough on crime,” but let’s be real—what’s really tough on crime is a society that’s not built on inequality. It’s about ensuring everyone has access to living wages, affordable housing, quality education, and healthcare. These are the things that prevent crime, not harsher laws or more policing.

Instead of focusing on punishment, let’s focus on prevention. Build communities that have the resources to thrive, where people aren’t forced into crime just to survive. Investing in the well-being of everyone is the real solution to crime, and it's high time we recognize that. Crime doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it’s a symptom of deeper societal issues.

So let’s take a different approach. Imagine a world where we didn’t just lock people up but worked to prevent crime by creating a world where everyone has a fair shot. That’s the real “tough on crime” strategy. 💰✊
