🏖️ CONDO BUYERS: Could You Handle a $14,000 Special Assessment?

You find the perfect Orange Beach condo. 🌊
The price works. The rental numbers look good. The view is incredible.

Then you hear two words:

“Special Assessment.” 😳

Do you know what that could mean for your purchase?

Your regular HOA dues pay for the normal operating expenses of the building. A special assessment is an additional charge to owners when the association has a major expense that isn't adequately covered by its regular budget or reserves.

Along the Alabama Gulf Coast, those expenses can include:

🔹 Major insurance increases
🔹 Concrete & balcony restoration
🔹 Roof replacement
🔹 Elevator repairs or replacement
🔹 Exterior/building-envelope projects
🔹 Hurricane deductibles
