Treats on the Backcountry Trail is set for Monday, October 27th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Trailhead, 4385 William Silvers Parkway. There will be trick-or-treating, games, S'mores and more.

𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲: 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 & 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The planned closure of the intersection at East 2nd Street & East 24th Avenue began today, Monday, October 13.

The closure is still expected to last for approximately two weeks.

Detour routes will be clearly marked to help you navigate around the area. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve local infrastructure.

NOTE ➡️ Businesses on the west side of the intersection can still be accessed by utilizing West 1st St and Gulf Ave to E 24th Ave. Big Beach Brewery can be accessed by using E 3rd St to E 24th Ave.

𝗨𝗽 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 ⬇️
Once the East 2nd Street and East 24th Avenue intersection reopens for east-west traffic, East 2nd Street will close to through traffic between 23rd Avenue and 24th Avenue. This closure will allow the next stage of construction to proceed safely and efficiently.

Additional updates will be provided as we get closer to this phase.

City offices closed on Fat Tuesday, March 4th

On Fat Tuesday, March 4, 2025, all non-essential City of Orange Beach offices will be closed for the Mardi Gras holiday. Garbage routes will not be affected and will run as usual.

City offices will reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, March 5th.
